Hello, I'm Kyla! I am originally from Ontario where I spent a fair amount of my childhood on my grandparents' chicken farm. The farm is where I fell in love with animals, specifically cats. I am the self-appointed "Crazy Cat Lady" of my family and if I had the time, energy and resources I would adopt every cat that is in need of a home. Sadly, I am unable to do this, so I have limited myself to my two (cat) sons: Lain, 16 years old and Perseus, 6 months old. I joined the Riverview Animal Health Centre team as a client service representative supervisor in April 2024.

I have a background in client service and hospitality. Joining Riverview Animal Health Centre was a daunting task for me as I had never worked in the Veterinary Medicine industry before! However, the whole team from to the doctors, technicians and assistants, to the management team and my fellow client service reps, everyone made my transition into the industry a smooth one. I look forward to continuing my career with Riverview Animal Health Centre and working alongside some of the kindest and most compassionate human beings I have ever met.
