From my early years, pets were always a part of my household, and I consistently knew that I wanted to work with animals. The thought of pursuing anything else never crossed my mind! Upon graduating from the Veterinary Technician program at Oulton College in 2020, I immediately joined the team at Riverview Animal Health Centre.

I find great fulfillment in emergency medicine because of the unpredictable nature of each case that comes through the door. There’s constant room for expanding my knowledge. The aspect I cherish most about my role is witnessing and contributing to the improvement of animals, helping them reunite with their families. It’s an incredibly rewarding experience. What I appreciate most about the Riverview Animal Health Centre is the remarkable support and camaraderie among the staff.

Fun Fact: One of the coolest pets I owned growing up was a chinchilla named Chili!
