In 2013, I graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island and completed an internship in internal medicine and surgery from 2013 to 2014. My love for animals, medicine, and science led me to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.
I’ve been associated with Riverview for a decade, initially as a student when they operated from a different location. After graduating in 2014, I joined their team. I’m particularly passionate about emergency medicine, radiology, and feline medicine.
My journey into veterinary medicine began with my first pet, a stray barn cat named Bashful. Not many people say they love coming to work every day, but I definitely do. I enjoy meeting new people and working with clients to figure out what’s wrong with their pet. It’s like putting together a puzzle, and those puzzles are different every day. It’s never boring!
I admire the compassion my teammates have for going above and beyond in terms of care and expectations for patients and clients, it’s truly inspiring.
Fun fact about myself is I have a travel bug and love going to new places locally and across the globe. I’d try anything once!
